Each day, a new round opens on Flip Hop. Joining is simple — you buy tickets with USDC (1 USDC ≈ $1), wait for the round to close, and if you’re selected, you claim your payout. Here’s how the whole process works.

What You Need Before Joining

Before joining a round, make sure you have:

  • A Flip Hop account (via Google or external wallet)
  • USDC on the Base network in your account (1 USDC ≈ $1)
  • Enough balance to cover the ticket price ($5 per ticket) plus standard Base network fees

Step by Step: How to Join a Round

  1. Sign in to Flip Hop Use your Google account or connected external wallet to access your dashboard.
  2. Check your balance Make sure you have enough USDC (USDC ≈ $1) for the number of tickets you wish to purchase. You can add funds to your balance. Each ticket costs US$5.
  3. Choose how many tickets to buy There is no fixed limit. You can buy one or more tickets. Each additional ticket increases your participation weight proportionally.
  4. Approve and confirm the transaction First-time users may be asked to approve the transaction before completing the purchase. This is a standard blockchain step and only needs to be done once.
  5. Wait for the round to close Rounds close daily at 00:00 UTC. Only tickets purchased within the 24-hour window before closing are counted.
  6. Check your results After the round closes, you can track results through your dashboard. If you are the selected winner, click “Claim Payout” and the amount will be available in your balance to withdraw.

What Happens If There Aren’t Enough Participants?

Each round requires at least 5 unique wallets to proceed. If that minimum isn’t reached, the round continues to the next day until the minimum is met — and the pool carries forward.

How the Net Pool is Distributed

From the net daily value (ticket purchases minus affiliate commissions):

  • 60% — reserved for the selected winner, available through claim
  • 30% — allocated to the platform
  • 10% — rolled over to the next round

How to Claim Your Payout

If you are the selected winner, your payout won’t be sent automatically — you need to claim it:

  • Go to your dashboard
  • Click “Claim Payout”
  • The amount will be available in your balance to withdraw

There is no claim expiry — claim anytime.

Quick Reference

  • Ticket price: $5 per ticket
  • Round closes: daily at 00:00 UTC
  • Minimum participants: 5 unique wallets
  • Accepted currency: USDC (Base) · 1 USDC ≈ $1
  • Winner share: 60% of net pool
  • Rollover: 10% to the next round
  • Affiliate reward: $1 per ticket
  • Network fees: standard Base network fees
  • Claim expiry: no expiry — claim anytime
